I went to (and still am in) Buenos Aires over my winter break. I'm leaving tomorrow though.
Wouldn't have too much to recommend anyway though, because most of what I do here is visit family and such.
One restaurant I really recommend would be La Caballeriza. I went there for dinner today, and it was pretty good. c:

and there are many places I can't remember now, it such a big city! (and there many hidden corners that are wonderful as well)
Don't forget it's summer in Argentina, it's going to be very hot, but in the evenings the weather can be very nice
