All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me
I'll always be there when you wake
Ya know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made
And I don't understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away, but it's a great escape

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

This is actually more an indirect portrait of myself. I got the idea for this when I was talking to my sister about this song and the bumble bee girl and then we got around to talking about me and my bumble bee costume and how cute it was. ^^ Yes I had a bumble bee costume. I was a the strange bumble bee girl, literally. I still am, only my costume doesn't fit me anymore ^^; It didn't look like this one but it was still cute. So that's the reason of this cartoonish, child-like and a lot cuter version of me.

As far as the drawing style goes, I really liked the colors and the sketchiness of it. :)

She looks so sad - as if she is trying to get back to her childhood by trying on her bumble bee costume that doesn't fit anymore and never will again :( Been There, Done That :(

That's an interesting interpretation. I hadn't thought of it like that, but I like it very much! I wasn't exactly in my happiest of mood while I was drawing it.
