This isn’t really a “how to draw a portrait in charcoal tutorial,” this is just how I drew this particular one. Just keep in mind that there are dozens of ways of creating a portrait. ;) Also sorry about most of the crappy photos =p

This is an awesome tutorial but I have a question for you, I have such a tough time getting a really nice, sharp point on my charcoal pencils, any suggestions?
