My version of it does nooo justice to the original shot of this beautiful child, but I really had an impulse to draw this portrait when I first saw the photograph.
I had some problems while drawing it- also why it took so long. I had many distractions. -_-; Not only that, but the stupid charcoal was giving me an allergic reaction again >< so I had to stop every few moments. That really took away from the piece as it screwed up my concentration.
I'm sorry it took so long to finish.

wow, the shading is really nice, soft and real looking....although I guess that was the point - to look real Sorry to hear about your allergies. I couldn't live without MY charcoal. I love the eyes.
